What's your idea?

Add the option for screen dimming after a certain amount of time?

I use amphetamine mainly to keep my screen from locking, and it would be great if there was the option to still allow the screen to dim after some inactivity, so that battery is saved a bit.

OK idea, but there is a simple solution.
Mac can Sleep the Monitor that disables visuals while the rest of the system is up and running.

... System Preferences/ Energy Saver function
        or
... System Preferences / Display and screen-saver / screensaver → check and configure "Hot Corners",

... and probably other ways too.

@William you could add a checkback if the hardware is a MacBook and if the screen is an integrated Display.
Or you could mark this feature as experimental

This is an interesting idea. Not sure how it could work as the way Amphetamine keeps the display awake is either an ON or OFF function. I'll have to look into whether screen brightness can be controlled via a sandboxed App Store app.

Even if it is possible, I'm hesitant to add this kind of feature as it will surely not work on external displays, and I'd bet a lot of folks would leave 1 star reviews or contact support over the feature not working,
